Hi All,

I'm new here and would like to try to post a pic of my opal and diamond ring. I picked it up years ago as a treat when I had a new job. It's as old as me - engraved with a date in the year 1965! I haven't posted pics before, so here goes!

Very pretty - I'm a sucker for milgraining and opals! :praise:

My 4.69ct Spessartite & Diamond E-Ring set in 18ct white gold custom setting.....I just picked it up yesterday and I'm in love! So hard to capture just how amazingly orange the stone is in a photo.

That ring looks gorgeous and oh so eye poppingly orange! Love the detailing added to the halo. We would not turn down more pics and hand shots.

Thanks ! I will post some more photos for sure when I get a chance to take some more :)

Here's the first ring I had made for my wife. Bought the stones separately & then had the ring made. I haven't given it to her yet but our anniversary is approaching so hopefully she'll like it.

Here are a couple of my fcds.

Adding to the blue theme of the last couple of posts (lovely blue stones you have btw).

I got a new camera, so I took some pics of one of my favorite blue rings. A 2.8 carat Tanzanian spinel.

It is a topaz ring.

That spinel looks iridescent somehow.

Also new, my 7- stone coloured diamond band. Looks terrible with the nail polish.

Yay! I finally get to post shots of my new e-ring. It's a 7.5mm precision cut gray spinel set by BGD in the "Eternal Grace" setting. I love everything about it! The spinel has many personalities and the melee in the setting is spectacular.

I love this setting..... And the stones, of too, of course. Where did it come from?

Thanks Gem Queen! The stone came from Loupe Troop and the setting is from Brian Gavin. They were great to work with and I'm so happy with the results.

My blue and green tourmaline diamond halo-ed bypass ring. Clashes terribly with the nail polish though.
Can you tell me where you got this setting and these stones?

Lavender blue spinel is set at last.

FINALLY - OMG it's gorgeous. One of my all time favorite rings on PS.

Gem Queen and TL,
Thanks for the exclamation of appreciation. It certainly brought a smile to my face this morning. I started a thread in SMTB with over a dozen pictures from just about every angle.

Very nice indeed, Chrono. Love the tone, saturation and hue of that one for sure.

That is stunning Chrono ! Love it !

Hi, I am both a gemstone and PS newbie. This is my first post, though I've been lurking on here for about a month now. :)

Here's my engagement ring! I haven't received it but here are some vendor photos. I can't wait to receive it but I wanted to share the photos since it was through PS that I first heard of Sally. Thanks to everyone, I've learned a lot just by reading past posts and discussions.

Lotus engagement ring from Sally at Heart of Water. The gem was also sourced for me by Sally.

- Sapphire from Sri Lanka (color change, from cornflower blue to violet/lavender-blue), 6.3mm, 0.90 carat, no treatment
- diamonds are G VS1
- 18k yellow gold ring

Mochiko: I love your ring - congratulations!

Hi guys,

First up is my three stone Montana sapphire RHR. Three round partis from Dana in white gold with milgrain. I literally just picked it up an hour ago on my lunchbreak, so these are the iPhone in-car pickup shots. Apologies for the quality of the shots, but I am in love already :D

I also picked up my engagement and wedding rings, but my fiancee hasn't seen the finished product yet, so you guys will have to wait. I ended up with an Australian pale green sapphire, 2ct, E-W set in white gold with double claws and a diamond band. I absolutely love it!

sapphiresal, love the milgrain work on your ring! :)

An 8 carat cuprian I bought eons ago, it came with a copper bearing lab memo, and you can see the needles associated with Mozambique cuprians. New camera, so I took a shot.

3.66 carat blue spinel taken with my new camera. This stone turns to a tanzanite violet in artificial light.

I really love the stone, bad cutting and bad setting aside, and I just now realize one of the melee is missing in this up close photo.

Also pictured is a 1.53 carat Mahenge elongated cushion I also bought a very long time ago. Should set it one of these days, it's in a gem box. Sorry for all the cotton fibers on it from the gem box.
