I don't have really big, bling rings yet, like many of you do, but I recently got this untreated ruby from my then-boyfriend now-fiance. I am in love with the vivid red color.
With my mom’s permission sharing a photo from the summer. This is my mom’s Zuni fetish necklace. When my sister was at Cornell veterinary college she bought this for my mom. I will ask my sister more about it today when I see her. All I know is it’s very pretty.

Here is my pear shaped sapphire ring surrounded by diamonds. The sapphire is a little over 4ct and not sure the total diamond weight. I wish the blue showed up better in the photo

Check out this ring I found... I this a ring from Tiffanys... It was a HUGE stone... 18+ carats.. Although I am not usually a sapphire (I leaned toward the warmer colors) I was shocked by this one. I cannot remember where I got the picture, but I kept it cause of how huge it was!

It's unheated sapphire not sure what the blue is called though not shown on it's certificate.
3.14 carat spinel set in 1 ct. pave diamonds in white gold.

I got the emerald suite at an estate sale. The red spinel is new, made by a private jeweler for me. I had my eye on that particular stone for SIX YEARS! yes, you read that correctly. I said to him, "when are you going to accept the fact that the spinel is my stone and nobody else is going to buy it?" . He finally sold it to me for a price I was willing to pay. Then he let me choose a nice setting from his wares. As for the ruby ring and the diamond engagement ring, I got those as gifts from Hubby. He bought them many years ago from Zales jewelers.
