Hi, Voce!
Congratulations on your engagement! That is a gorgeous untreated ruby—so beautiful on your delicate hand. May you enjoy it in good health and much happiness together!
With my mom’s permission sharing a photo from the summer. This is my mom’s Zuni fetish necklace. When my sister was at Cornell veterinary college she bought this for my mom. I will ask my sister more about it today when I see her. All I know is it’s very pretty.
Lol Just seeing the bracelet. I think it’s cloisonné. Not sure. Will ask my mom.
Zoom in to see the necklace. Made up of all different natural stones.
ETA just spoke with my mom and yes I’m right about the bracelet and my parents got it in St Thomas on their honeymoon in 1963.
Wow, beautiful blue! Tell us more, we love a good ring story! Can we get a hand shot, please? The halo is so interesting, wonder what it looks like from the top.
You can't get away with just one picture! It's such a beautiful blue.
its beautifulMZ!! LOVE IT ORANGE sister!!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!
Woo.... Looks perfect.. color was definitely what your setting needed! SCRUMPTOUS!!
Check out this ring I found... I this a ring from Tiffanys... It was a HUGE stone... 18+ carats.. Although I am not usually a sapphire (I leaned toward the warmer colors) I was shocked by this one. I cannot remember where I got the picture, but I kept it cause of how huge it was!
Thank you, @MissyBeaucoup!Hi, Voce!

Hey everyone, I’ve been away for years (being a mum and not having time to wear my rings). Would love to come hang out again. Here are a pink spinel and an orange spess that I mounted myself in silver settings.
I have a couple new rings coming to me from Etsy, would love to share them here when I get them.

Wow, you mounted them yourself? I have thought about buying settings and putting in the center gem myself, but it looked like a very involved process on Youtube. Did you cut notches in the prongs before bending them to the gem?
Your pink spinel and orange spess rings are beautiful!
Seconded, I would like to see a top view, too, @tagyana.
I got the emerald suite at an estate sale. The red spinel is new, made by a private jeweler for me. I had my eye on that particular stone for SIX YEARS! yes, you read that correctly. I said to him, "when are you going to accept the fact that the spinel is my stone and nobody else is going to buy it?" . He finally sold it to me for a price I was willing to pay. Then he let me choose a nice setting from his wares. As for the ruby ring and the diamond engagement ring, I got those as gifts from Hubby. He bought them many years ago from Zales jewelers.@MamaBess where did you get these beauties? LOVE!
