ok, some work in progress photos of the three pearls i have so far - the outside two are the pp connoisseur sale pearls, the middle one is an awesome random stepped (rather than ringed, really) T i got somewhere or another, and i'm waiting on the blue/teal pearl to finalize the design (ok not in progress, just pearls on a pin):

I don't post much, but do enjoy reading the posts and love the photos. I picked up these little h geode earrings. My son and husband think they're pretty. I am trying to decide if I should have picked up the Tahitian with pink sapphire versions. I am probably going to change the earring, as it fell out of my ear 2x today in my office (scary).

I am so glad you posted these shots, as I bought the "sister" to your little h geode souffle earrings! I was wondering who bought this beautiful solid colored pair and hoped I'd get to see it on its owner.

They are gorgeous! How is the weight for you?

I tend to pinch my shepherd's hooks together so the "U" is narrower and the earrings stay in my ears more securely. After closing the "U" I've never had one fall out (knock on wood). Is that what you meant by them falling out?

The Tahitian versions are beautiful and a completely different look. Since you have blond hair they would work for you, too!

juliebeth, I knew your pearl arrangement reminded me of something. Olives on a toothpick for a martini. Now THAT would be one lucky martini!

The weight is fine for me. I have weird ears that sometimes earrings bother and sometimes they don't. And yes, one of them did drop out of my ear and hit the floor when I bent over. And yes I will probably bend the earring finding more and use the little plastic rings that Hisano sent with them. I just didn't want to bend them if I was going to trade them back for the Tahitian earrings.

I decided to keep these, but now I might want a pendant.

juliebeth -- You scored, girlfriend! You can close the link anywhere you want on the chain (like 16") and just have a thin chain going down your neck an inch or two. I do that with too-long chains.
