Thanks, it’s a beloved family-run brick and mortar that’s been around for over 30 years . Poor jeweler’s been broken into twice in the past year though.

Another idea is since I’m really interested in the gold bezel studs, I could bezel my current .6 studs and get the 1.3 for a future basket prong stud set.

Saw this on PS. I think hers are 80 pointers.

They are very pretty but would you rather bezel a 1.1 as opposed to a .6? Would be a big size difference. I almost think if I was dead set on buying the 1.3 J, I would just keep getting up with what you currently have and wait. I would just ask WF about their expected availability of a match. Their inventory doesn’t seem to be growing as fast as it used to grow. I would just hate for you to end up with a stone that could take a long while to match.

I am also deep into the deceptively complex minefield that is picking out stud settings. I feel like after a certain size I want less metal? But that’s just me. Can you go try some in at the local store? I am not in a huge town but the jewelers around me had larger sizes to try on in lab created so it could at least give you a chance to see how you feel about prong settings and whathaveyou

I don’t know why I was so attracted to the gold bezel considering I’m usually a classic prong gal, but WF says I can exchange the setting in case I don’t love it. But I think it will go well with my yellow gold Love and JUC stack!

Yay! So happy for you! I think the bezels will be beautiful and will add to the size! I get tickled at the way you think of all kinds of options and yet settle for what makes the most sense - same with your current diamond! You are building a gorgeous empire girl!!

Thank you, MGR! I definitely consider the wisdom of PSers! Thank goodness for WF’s upgrade policy, I’m able to take risks with size and color, even if I have to eat the cost of shipping and settings. It’s so worth it!

You may be right due to the size of your earlobe and the position of the piercing. No matter what they will look much bigger than your current .6’s!

I was going to wait to surprise everyone when they got here but I was able to get the 1.3ct stone... on both ears!

The 1.30ct K VVS2 was a better match to the 1.3 J SI1 than the 1.29ct J VVS2 according to my lovely SA. The 1.3ct K VVS2 may look smaller than the 1.318ct J SI1 but they're just not level in the image.

They're supposed to arrive next week and I'm soo excited. I can't wait to see these babies in 4 prong platinum settings and on human lobes!!

Thanks! I chose platinum 4-prong baskets with pousette backs. I was really between settings and couldn’t find larger bezeled stones in person. My husband and mom voted for the classic 4-prongs.
