To those wondering about why WF delivered to a private home in this case, John P. kindly explained it to me.

When someone makes a purchase with them, they punch in their address for any FedEx STAFFED location within 30 miles. There may also be "self service" and "shipping" stations, but packages are not left with those. It has to be a "hold at" location.

There was not one within 30 miles of his home. Rather unusual from what John says. That is why they delivered to his home. Since I was wondering, I thought some others might be as well. This should clear things up.
