The online resource Credit Donkey, devoted to helping consumer save money, compares ring shopping at Blue Nile, Tiffany's and Costco. I think many Pricescopers would quibble with their recommendations, but they do say that while Blue Nile beats the other two just in terms of loose diamond value, "the exceptional value it once offered can now be beaten by smaller, nimbler online retailers."
