I can't decide. :cheeky:

For you or for your BM's?
What do the BM's dresses look like?

I think its really different, and pretty, but would like to see what the rest of the wedding looks like.

For me. The girls dresses are strapless ruched short and black. They will be carrying hot pink Gerber daisy's. I planned to carry the same except maybe add in white orchids to theirs since we are using white orchids in other places and leave mine the gerbers but then I saw this and at first I loved it but then I was like...I'm not sure.

Honestly, I think it's really cute, but not really great for a wedding...it reminds me of a prom for some reason. But if you like it then I say, go for it!

I think it would look better if the feathers were not sticking out as much. I do think the feathers add a "uniqueness".

Yes, prom! Or a quinceañera or something. Don't get me wrong, I think they are cute. But I'm not sure if "cute" is what you are going for.

I'm not sure of exactly what I'm going for. I had decided on the gerbers with orchids and then I saw this and I really liked it. It left me all confused about what I want.

I can see why you like it, because I find it fun to look at...but I feel like it will 'cheapen' your overall look. And I don't mean that in a bad way, even though I don't see how it can be taken any other way...I just feel like your dress is elegant and beautiful, and this bouquet is funky and fun and teen-ish and not a good fit.

I also don't like the uniformness of the bouquet with the more wild, organic feel of the feathers. I feel like this look might work better with some cream/off white flowers added to make it more bridal, and off white feathers, not black. I also feel like the bouquet itself should be more organic, and not so round. Maybe then it would be more wedding appropriate. :))

I think it looks a little prom-ish because it's only two colors. If you had multiple hues of pink with the black, I think it would give the bouquet more dimension and make it pretty. I can't decide if I like the idea of black feathers though, and think with your current color scheme ivory/white may be the way to go.

As of now I like the concept, but it reminds me a little of a feather boa. :)

We were posting at the same time, but you said what I was thinking in a better way. The flowers are too constricted to then have the flourish of the feathers. I think the whole bouquet needs to loosen up a bit.

Cheapen it was exactly what I was thinking but couldn't put my finger on. Thanks! I do like this but it does seem very fun and teen-ish.

This is the type of bouquets I want for myself and the girls, only I will somehow add orchids to theirs and leave mine the plain gerbers. I know thats a little backwards of normal but i really like the simple look of just gerbs for me. No crystals in the center though.

i like the second pic you posted (sans crystals) MUCH better than the one w/the feathers. the feathers don't really "flow" with gerbera daisies & having the black ones poking out from pink daisies does make it look young & cheap. stick with you original bouquet ideas.

but i still love your dress; it's so romantic! (and bm dresses too! the pink will pop great against the black dresses!)

I like this much better. Sans crystals, as you said.

I do like the funkiness of the feathers, although it kind of looks like the bouquet ate a bird and then burped the feathers. :errrr:

This is exactly how I feel. I really like incorporating feathers into bouquets and centerpieces but the one's that I've seen also have a variety of flowers and at least some of those with long stems.

Another vote for the second bouquet sans crystals - gf said it perfectly! Neither element is problematic, they're just - all out of place together like that.

I just snorted tea everywhere

Sorry, I have to vote not. Love it for something fun like a prom, or maybe a new years eve centerpiece.... you get the idea.

But for your wedding, I would go with the gerber daisies sans crystals and feathers. I think sometimes simple is best. I totally get wrapped up in things I see- i.e. Brooch Bouquet....and once I started sharing pics of the idea my bridesmaids told me like it is- cute but not for me/my wedding. At first I was offended but now I see their point of view and am happy I am doing traditional flowers.

Thanks ladies!

I actually really like this bouquet idea. However, I don't think it goes well with your dress. I dunno -- just different styles in my eyes, I guess.
