@lovedogs your ring reminded me that @mrs-b had a flowery basket solitaire by DKJ a while back. I believe it was reset with a garnet but i can't find the photos.

@mrs-b it's a 4ct stone (10mm). Sadly I'm selling it because it never gets worn. I think 9mm is a better "big" ring size for me, as I found 10mm is bigger than I'm comfortable with.

Ooooh, I HEAR YOU! My 4 ct was 10.35. I am much happier with something in the 9's - even on my size (7.5) finger. Do you have the ring up on LT? And what size is it?

Yup, it's here https://loupetroop.com/listings/rings/10mm-f1-moissanite-in-dk-ring;23715 but I lowered price a lot in another "clearance" posting https://loupetroop.com/listings/rings/ring-clearance-sale. Just less good pics of it there. Size 7. I keep waffling about whether I want to sell or set something else in it. But I was only wearing it at home on the weekends, bc I was too self conscious to wear it anywhere else, which is tragic because it's SO gorgeous!

I don't want to be an enabler b/c the worst is spending a lot of money on something nice that you don't end up wearing but I think it would look great with a green stone in it too :lol::lol::lol:

Feeling a little like I should change the title of this thread after some recent posts related to the designer of the Dahlia :oops2::eek2: Hope we can just admire pretty flowery baskets here from all corners of the jewelry universe. :geek2:

There are a few that I really love but after all that I think I could only feel comfortable buying secondhand. I'm glad this thread came back up again though, I need to find some more flowery baskets to add to the mix!
 
My three stone has a flower basket. I'll try to find a good photo.

Yep you are right!! One of my favorite things about this is how the diamond is 100% protected from me knocking it on things, so I can keep this oec in pristine condition :) It's like a subtle metal halo that actually adds size and most of all protects. It makes this 7.5x7.7mm oec look 8mm.

That oec looks very snug in there! I knock my hand on stuff all the time and happy to have a low set 8 prong setting for that reason o_O;)2

I have an AV Elyque Halo setting.

My 3.35 ct fancy light brownish yellow has been reset in her temp home!

I’m so excited! I think his lighting kind of washes her out but I can’t wait to get her back. I wanted an easy setting that still has a lot of yellow gold to highlight my diamond’s yellow while being relatively simple and not a bezel so I can reuse it when I put her back in her old setting...
