Yeah, I'd watch it for Jennifer Grey.

But then if she didn't win I'd be upset.

A lot of times with these reality shows the person I think should win doesn't. ;(

I'm getting sick of seeing Brooke Burke's boobs all the time. I have nothing against the cleave, but come on.

I liked Samantha Harris better.

I just watched the new episode and I completely agree. She bothers me in general for some reason. When some of the contestants try to be funny or joke around with her she acts annoyed.

Brandy is getting on my nerves and I didn't think that would have been possible. She blames everything on her partner!
 
adam carolla rags on brooke burke every time someone brings her up on his podcasts. they were on DWTS together, right? i didn't watch back then. he says she's a total beeyotch.

Thritto... or whatever we're up to now. She seems to think that she's the star of the show, when her job is really to make the dancers and celebs look good.

And Michael Bolton's whining? I don't think he won any new fans with his DWTS turn!
 
I think Brooke Burke is an awful host or co-host or whatever. She has no rapport with any of the contestants, and her questions always feel/sound so stilted. I didn't really watch when Samantha Harris was on but I just really dislike Brooke on the show.

And Brandy is getting on my nerves too. I can't tell if I feel bad for Maks (for getting all the headstrong partners) or if it's mostly his fault :P

I'm enjoying the daylights out of Jennifer Grey. I think she's fantastic. The only thing that bothered me was reading on some entertainment news website about how it's understandable that she's doing so well in the competition "because she's a dancer". The woman is an actress who made one movie where dance was the theme. It's amazing that the media people can't let someone stand out because they're honestly *good* and are working very hard at being good. Sheesh!

When I sucker dh into watching with me, we spend half the time making fun of her. She is one of the worst host-type people I've ever seen! Followed closely by whoever it is that hosts the 'after shows' of the MTv Real World and Challenge type shows, but still.

I felt bad for Michael Bolton, but he is just really bad. I can't see him getting any better.
 
I'm just watching tonight's show on the DVR. Don't know who gets kicked off but along with Brooke Burke's boobs, I'm getting sick of that "Hallelujah" song. It's been so overplayed on tv lately. And could Michael Bolton have sung it ANY SLOWER?

Watching the husband/wife professionals dancing during his performance was great though! They're both so fluid and beautiful.
 
The castoff wouldn't have been my first choice to go, but certainly a contender for the worst.

It's just starting here - thanks for not spoiling! I was pleased to see the judges choose one of the riskier dances for the encore performance! I liked seeing it again - and I think it was performed better tonight than yesterday.

I would have thought that Michael Bolton, after having being voted out on only the second show, would have sung one of his huge hits to sort of redeem himself. Kind of like saying, I may not be such a great dancer, but at least I AM good at what I do. Instead, he sang something that I have to agree was much too s-l-o-w and strained his voice. I didn't think he sounded so great last night.

Now the Canadian Tenors? They're the ones who made Hallelujah popular and I could listen to them sing it a hundred times in a row without tiring of it.
 
I only continue to watch because of Jennifer Grey. They either need to bring Samantha Harris back or at least find someone better than Brooke Burke. I must admit though that I am proud of "Mom Brady" - Florence Henderson. I hope I will move as well when I am 76. She has been the best "old timer" on the show thusfar!

I love all the contestants this season...it takes so much guts to get out there and dance the way they do, I am proud of all of them. Of course I am rooting for Jennifer Grey and probably Brandy, but all of the contestants on every season of this show give their heart and soul, it's fantastic to watch!!! :appl:

Jennifer Grey and Derrek Hough are enough entertainment as a twosome to convince anyone to continue to watch. They are consistantly AMAZING! They're the only team doing pro-caliber routines every week. I think they've distinguished themselves as being in a class all by themselves.
 
I love JG! D and J are so hot together! I love love love them! Isn't she like 50? I wish I could be like that at 50! Heck, I wish I could be like that NOW!

The situation is disgusting. bleh. Is there a vomiting emotie?
 
Bah it looks like I'm definitely in the minority. I totally admit - Jennifer Grey is the best celeb dancer out there - but I just don't really like her. I don't know why. Apparently one of my best friends and her mom agree with me - maybe it's a non-PS thing :P But it does leave me disappointed, because I can't really see anyone challenging JG (unless Audrina really steps it up) and I don't really care if JG wins or not. I'm also sad this season because some of my favorites really have no hope of winning this thing (versus last season when I loved Nicole, Evan and Niecy). Poop.
 
SO HAPPY that I won't have to watch the "AWKWARD SITUATION" any longer. He was horrible on the dance floor. It was painful to watch him attempt to have rhythm (MY EYES MY EYES :errrr: ;( ). My almost 2 yr old could bust a move on him :lol:

Jennifer G. was great this week and I'm all for FLO Henderson. I could only WISH to be able to move like that in 30 yrs. God bless her and I thought her RUMBA was great. She had more rhythm than the SITUATION.
 
Brandy looked much better this week. I have kind of been hating on her this season. I just hate when they sing someone's praises like they are WONDERFUL when they can't extend their legs and point their toes. Come on! But this week she was very much improved.

Jennifer Grey is phenomenal and so exciting to watch. I love her!

I can't STAND Lacey (professional dancer). Her costumes are always so tacky and trashy. Ick.
 
I just love Jennifer Grey. I love to watch her dance. I did think Brandy performed better as well.
 
Who watched last night?

Despite the judges' mixed reactions, I loved Kyle's performance! He's definitely one of the best entertainers on the show.

And I thought the DWTS singers really screwed up Audrina's song "Unwritten." It sounded SO BAD.
 
hmmm I don't know how to quote but I was going to respond to BEG. I LOVE Kyle; he is super cute and you are right such an entertainer! I hope he is in the top 3. Jennifer is great too! Brandy did much better. I think Bristol is going to go home but I could be wrong; I think she still looks scared when she dances and is too much in her shell for this late in the game. I do think the dancers are not as good as past seasons, just my 2 cents. ;)) It is fun to watch though!!
 
I think tonight's elimination was just wrong. :(sad :angryfire: There are one or two celebs who definitely deserved to be sent packing before tonight's eliminee! (OK, I know that word hasn't made it into my Funk and Wagnall's yet - but given the proliferation of TV reality shows, it's just a matter of time! ;)) )
