I’m sorry but what tint? I genuinely can’t see any overt tint, maybe a small impression of warmth? in the new setting. In the old setting, it looks like a light yellow! How amazing.

I think there may be a wee bit of lighting doing some favors in the video. She isn’t a honking yellow, nicotine tinted mess but she’s not that white. The stone is a L-M depending on which report or appraisal you look at. You can see more of it in this photo.
I like color in my diamonds, not a purist by any means on the color front, but I think what happened in the deep yellow bezel was the tip’s tint concentrated versus the rest of the stone. So it looked uneven. My OCD was not amused at times.
I’m thinking the shallower bezel inshould eliminate that.
