OK, here are my potential final candidates:
1.52 ct. I color, VVS1, Strong Fluoro, HCA 1.6
Table - 57
Depth - 61.7
CA - 35
PA - 40.8
OR
1.7 ct. J color, VS1, Med Fluoro, HCA 1.7
Table - 56
Depth - 62
CA - 36
PA - 40.6
I want to set one of these into a Mark Morrell platinum setting. I know "I" and "J" color diamonds can look a little warm compared to higher color grades, but I'm looking for the best value in regards to size and color without sacrificing cut and performance. I know the "I" color diamond appears to have marginally better performance numbers but the "J" diamond is appealing due to increase in size, however I may lose some hint of colorlessness. Any reason I SHOULDN'T pick the "J"?
THANK YOU!
