DK just sent me photos of my completed ring!

Centre stone is a 1.54 uncertified deep brown yellow marquise from T Star in HK.

I vacillated quite a lot about how to set it in my Rocky Talky thread here but ultimately went with my minimalist gut, and opted for a very sleek deep gold setting to bring out the brown glow - I told DK he could choose whatever finish and hue he wanted as long as it was "languid understated super luxe", haha. It's set in DK's "antique" 18K alloy, ring size 5.25.

I haven't received it yet as I've asked for it to be sized down just a touch, but when I saw the photos I had one of those jaw dropping "OMG YES" moments. So so happy with this!

Sleek. The gold color is divine against that stone.

OMG I LOVE THIS!! I have been planning an EW Marquise, just stunning!

Please excuse the decidedly non-luxe state of my hands - I've been on call so washed them about 73739 times a day!!!

This diamond is so hard to photograph. The colour in its box is probably closest to how it really apears. It is luminous, glowy, always-changing. Even colour throughout, no windowing. It's perfect. I love this ring!PXL_20240618_004849829~2.jpgPXL_20240618_004900058~2.jpgPXL_20240618_004904209~2.jpgPXL_20240618_004927223~2.jpgPXL_20240618_004957775~2.jpgPXL_20240618_003547174.jpg

I LOVE everything about this creation! The stone shape and color, setting it east/west, choice of metal color and the simplicity of the setting. Modern yet timeless. I would wear that daily, congratulations on such a beautiful ring.

Stunning and so fashionable!

@pancake the fluidity is sublime!

The stone and the setting = a match made in heaven

Better representation of colour/appearance!

Looking very golden with my sweater today:

This is my first coloured stone and I am constantly looking at it - mesmerising!!! The depth of the visual effect and the golden hue is so gorgeous, I can't believe it's mine haha.

That is sooooo beautiful. Delicious colors. It's perfect on you. And with the smooth bezel setting, it must be a good fit for a doctor/medical person who has to wear gloves and wash her hands a lot.

Just exquisite!
