Anyone ever use this online vendor? Seems their prices are good and a decent return policy. I get a 20% discount through my employee benefits and was just wondering if anyone here had any experience with them.

Thanks in advance!

I would try doing a search on here and see what it turns up.

your employer gets you 20% off? Dang. I would do a search on yahoo or google for "diamond.com" reviews.

I have done this for a few companies and learned a lot about them. There is good info out there if you know how/where to find it.

I haven''t heard anything bad about that company...but I am very interested in knowing what company gives such a discount!

Lot''s of big corporations have benefits like this. I happen to work for GE - we get discounts all over the place

Based on a quick review of their site (but no experience otherwise)...seems promising.

1) Going in, I see at least readers on this board are also offered a discount...of 15%. Still even a 5% premium to you can be significant.
2) All GIA options. Not bad.
3) 60 day return policy. Exceptional
4) Big selection
5) Bad access to necessary information, but....it is available with separate work on your part.

You want to be able make a purchase, based on information concerning the cut of your diamond. Largely, using a tool here like the HCA helps you do this, but it means you need the crown & pavilion angles. A year ago, GIA did not provide this info. But, now they do. Nevertheless, the info on the diamond.com does not provide an easy pathway to that info. However, they DO give you the GIA certificate number. Enter that number with the carat weight, at GIA''s web site, and you''ll get your data, which you can use to explore further. To make your life easier, consider only going with ones GIA themselves regards to have a cut grade as "excellent," but then scope it further with the HCA. The only one I pulled up got a vg from GIA, but I have no reason to think it won''t have many scoring both excellent, and from 0 - 2 on the HCA.

Then, of course, use your 60 days to take a test drive.

Best,

wait...we get 15% off there? How do we get THAT discount??

Top right, under Resources, scroll to bottom to see Diamonds.com...

I am looking for a ring and Diamond.com was one of the sites that I was to research, I took the advice of looking at the comments on this forum and did the google search too.

I have a cousin that works for GE, I need to talk to her and see if I can use her discount to get the discount?

GE does allow us to refer family and friends to the shopping benefits, however, they only allow us to send the link to a total of two people...

I have gotten some gemstone jewelry though them and have been very impressed with their quality.
