and

1.20 ct wgt
H color
VS2
excellent cut grade

crown angle: 35
pav angle: 40.6

Can you get ideal-scope images of the HVS2 1.20ct?
It is the better of the 2 for cut

Hi Rodmichael.

No way for us to say anything decisive without an ideal-scope or ASET image. Remember that the CA & PA numbers you give are averages of 8 measurements apc, so the 40.6 PA on #3 could actually range from 40.1 - 40.8 (example) which would lend itself to leakage we can't know without an image. Cut precision, minor facets, brillianteering variations...all are unknown.

From the numbers provided the 1.20 and 1.17 have more promise to me than the 1.16. But again, without seeing an actual performance image it's like having the height, weight and chalk outline of a blind date... No way to know the important details of her personality.

After comparing the 3 stones, 2 of them from a local diamond broker, I have decided to go with the 1.20 H VS2.

No asset or ideal scope images available for the 1.20 or 1.16.

Using the naked eye, the 1.20 and 1.16 were superior.

All of the stones look great on paper, but the 1.17 failed to live up to the AGS ideal, H&A standard it was sold at.

Anyway, thanks again to everyone for the feedback
