Sorry I haven’t replied to people yet. We went out Saturday night to a fundraiser with two tables of friends and someone’s 18 year old senior in high school driver we paid lol and we over indulged but had a ton of fun. As DH said, I got “loose” lol which doesn’t happen much where we live because small town, people talk... etc. I basically slept all day yesterday and today I just woke up and haven’t had coffee yet.

Melissa is officially Wink’s sales manager; but she is sort of fairy godmother to the designs lol. She says she doesn’t sketch well, but design is her passion and so she can sketch well enough to pass ideas to the CAD artists.

@SimoneDi thank you. I agree that sitting on ideas is best. I sat on the asscher for 4 years lol (a bit much I would say). Now I don’t know what to do with my aquamarine because I was also going to make a right hand same finger ring, but now I’m not so sure about that! I need more fingers. Can I wear a 6 carat aqua on my toes lol. Oh, and lest I forget to discuss the CBIs— total perfection. I say the setting made the sapphire pop, and it did, but I absolutely cannot wait to see how the diamonds look individually and in conjunction with the sapphire. I will be at the saints game on Sunday and those dome lights outdo Walmart lol. Prepare yourself for more pics on Sunday lol

General warning to all about my hands: (ha!) since my BIL died, I bit all my nails down farther than I would have thought they could go (haven’t done that in decades) and my eczema is acting up. So no model hands for me, but not too hideous/could be worse.

@caf oh thank you! It’s one thing seeing pics and videos but knowing it’s going to be so much more in person..... I’m running all of my errands today so I can clear tomorrow (though it probably won’t arrive until 8pm or so cst, so pretty late)

You have a famous @Wink video! And he sang a bit in it! Hehe when I was obsessively thinking about CBI diamonds (still am) I found many of his videos and there's only a very few he sings in... he has an awesome singing voice!

So I called and they said it was likely coincidence and a neighbor delivery due by 10:30 and mine still shows delivery between 10:55 am and 4:30 pm

Nearly had a heart attack!!! Is that a PS thing? Chase fed ex down your street?

I just don't know what to say @whitewave. That's the most amazing sapphire I have ever seen. I have never really understood the appeal, they always seem so boring to me. But your sapphire has a life of it's own. Clearly I've never seen any sapphire previously worthy. Wow. I just can't get over it.

Having it mirrored by two such stunning diamonds is just unreal. What an amazing ring. What amazing videos. I bet the videos don't even do it justice. Wow.

Your heart must be bursting out of your chest. I'm so delighted for you that something you have been waiting so long for has come together so well for you. Wow.

Don't suppose you're willing to link the link for your two diamonds into this thread for reference. Can't remember you putting them earlier on but it would be useful information for people to see.
