Earrings arrived. I didn't get the BOOM POW of beauty that I normally feel when buying gorgeous creamy pearls. However, I feel the size (.35 each ear/70 total) is good for daily wear and they do throw off a lot of rainbow sparkle (even in my crappy bathroom lighting).

The studs look beautiful! I used to be a colored gems girl before I fell in love with diamonds and had the same underwhelming feeling in the beginning. As I got to know my diamonds more, I developed a greater appreciation for them, the fire and sparkle they throw off and their versatile nature. I hope that you will love your studs more with each day, they look awesome on you!

Tried to take a picture in different lighting. Hopefully, it comes out better than the previous pictures! I set these earrings against my black pants (please excuse the cat hair/lint LOL). The black dots are a reflection, not blemishes (these are VVS2, G stones).

Agree with the above, they look great! Glad you went with the slightly lower clarity to get .1 ctw larger. .7 ctw is certainly substantial and seems like the perfect size on you.

Final Final Update!

I really tried to love those earrings but they were just too small. I returned them and repurchased a different set (ignoring my original budget). Thanks again for all of the helpful advice! I am much happier with my new pair and officially a diamond convert! (no more pearls for me!). Pictures and diamond specs are below . Best wishes to everyone.

Nice!! I posted earlier in this thread—I did end up trading up to 1.01 ctw (G color, I went down to SI2 clarity this time!). It’s definitely a jump from .60 ctw a larger presence on the ear. Yours look great, and I hope you wear them in good health and happiness!
