Difference between 2 diamonds(opnions needed)

Does anyone have a opinion on why these two diamonds cost such different prices.

There is a price bracket difference between .30-.37 and .38-.45ct.
There may also be a cut quality difference.
The vendors also have different scale and service levels.

its your choice though - both seem very nice
 
Didn''t know about the price bracket difference. That means i should really be going after a 0.45ct diamond since the premium within the price bracket will be smaller. I was thinking that it might be a cut difference. Sarah from GOG said the 0.38ct is really a very nice diamond :)
 
oh, the price went up...

the 0.38ct D-IF from GOG was $1,661.00 before the holidays...
