Do I have size dysmorphia?

My other option is to utilize the 8 old cuts in this setting (which were originally set along this one carat) and create a cluster ring. I would definitely get more finger coverage! But then I think I’d just be reverting to a halo style.

All your rings are pretty. They do kind of look the same size but it might be because you have such a clear style. The new green one would not look hugely larger IMHO. You might have to save for a while so that you can get the size stone and the intricate setting you really crave.

I don't have any advice to add except I think all your rings are unique and beautiful. Sometimes in life a day calls for a ring that is smaller rather than larger and you will be happy to have this new lovely ring that just fits the bill.
It's still substantial but as somebody up thread said anything compared to your BIG ring will always look small.
You have 10 fingers.. I would keep it and enjoy it!!:kiss2:

Agree with @oncrutchesrightnow. This might "scratch the itch" a little bit - but you'll still be longing for the bigger ones that really shout to you THIS IS IT! Been there myself o_O

Ok. I ordered this ring off eBay with the plan to set my 1 carat oec in it and use the green stone in another setting. It’s a diopside and the seller didn’t disclose the inclusion in the diopside so I can return. The Issue is that these types of settings are hard to come by, and I don’t want to regret sending it back. Now, the other surprise is that I feel like it looks too small—not enough coverage or ummpphh. It will be a rhr, but, I already own a art deco rings—all about .60 or so—and I expected this ring to be much bigger than those. But I don’t know if I’ve lost all sense of size or if it really does look like my other art deco’s but with a larger stone.
The green stone is the ring in question. I will post my others after. The question is—does this ring look significantly bigger than my others? A5158A1E-E048-4ABA-9A2F-3F159872441F.jpeg
It’s very flattering!!!

IMHO, I think you just like big bling! Nothing wrong with that - but I don't think the original ring you posted is going to be good enough. It doesn't stand out enough to me in comparison to the other rings you've posted. I'd think about saving and going all out for a real statement piece. I think you will find that much more fulfilling in the end. No settling.

Or, is it really all about the hunt, :twisted2: ??

p.s. I really like that emerald ring as well.

update. Last week I went to my jeweler (whose own ring inspired me for this quest) and while she didn’t have the pic of the ring that i posted, she showed me her actual ring —which was the original ring which inspired me and it turns out—-I like mine more! And hers is not substantially bigger to risk giving this one up. I will post pics when I reset! Ty all!

Here she is!
