Do you ever feel ambivalent about buying jewelry?

I dont know whats wrong with me. All year long I drool and lust (in a good way) over everyone's new jewels and
now that I have the opportunity to buy something I feel ho-hum about it. Anyone ever feel this way? Is there a cure?
Any suggestions?

i also love the hunt and dont want to buy everything im researching at the time.If i bought everything i liked for 2 minutes i would be bankrupt! I am surprised sometimes at the jewelry that i aquire because many times its exactly the thing that i say i dont want!But ive never had buyer remorse because there was a redeaming quality to each piece that seems to hold up with me over the years.

For me the hunt is fun. Finding the right diamond/s for a project is fun, but ownership is key! I LOVE having a selection of white gold and yellow gold pieces to chose from everyday.

The only time I felt ambivalent about jewelry was when I was really really sick and I actually said the words out loud, "even having a 3 ct. G VS2 wouldn't make me feel better right now". My husband look at me like I was cracked.

You must have been REALLY sick!
