Thanks, Austina. The one I lost was an M, and I always loved the colour, so hopefully the same with this one. I've never had a diamond with fluorescence before-- she said it makes it face up like a J in the sun, but it has that softer colour in other lighting.

I think I'm going to try to find a simple temporary setting and take a bit of time figuring out what I ultimately want to do with it,

Does anyone have any simple platinum off-the-rack setting they particularly like or any recs for vendors?

As always, I'm left wondering how everyone else manages to get such great photos of theirs--mine never really capture things. It's a really lovely diamond--I'm still in shock on what a great price it was. The fluorescence makes it crazy white in the sun.

Slightly weird reaction on my part at first because it somehow doesn't feel like 'mine' yet, but I'm sure that will pass.

I think your photos are great - it must be even more fantastic in person then!

Would stuller crown stock setting fit the bill?
And see if SinCity’s bench would set it and finish it off really nicely?
(Like my local bench wouldn’t /couldn’t )

I think an 8 prong plat solitaire setting would be perfect. Adam at old world creates beautiful and affordable settings.
