I am selling my Dream Band from Brian Gavin Diamonds. I originally commissioned this ring when my first son was born, but now I would like to create a single ring in honor of both my kids using my new OEC, so proceeds will fund that delightful project!

Here is the link to the ring on BGD’s site: http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/wedding-and-anniversary-bands/eternity-bands/dream-half-eternity-18k-white-gold-5392w18......

The ring is 18k white gold. Half eternity, 0.55cttw, eleven BGD signature melee stones, five points each. The diamonds are H/I color and SI clarity, white, bright, and eye clean. The ring is 2.3mm wide on the top and rises about 2.1mm off the finger. It is a low set and extremely beautiful ring, one of BGD’s best-selling styles!

Size 6.25 and sizable within reason by BGD. Ring is in excellent condition, a simple polish and rhodium dip and it will be like new. To ease the transaction, BGD have graciously agreed to act as middle man (I will discuss details with the buyer). Buyer is responsible for shipping from BGD to his or her hot little hands, as well as any costs for resizing or polishing/dipping.

Retails for around $1600+ with this color/clarity diamonds. I am asking $1195 USD and will consider reasonable offers.

I accept PayPal. No returns or refunds, so ask your questions now!

No, I came very close but I kept it and doubt it could be pried from my hand with the jaws of life at this point ;-)

Just saw the thread in RT. I've been logging in here first to scout out bargains. :D

Oh how I love this! If it wasn't for a very expensive week between car repair and a sick puppy there we be serious consideration on my part. Hopefully it will find a happy new home. :)

good luck with your sale :) Can't wait to see the new project!

I really love this band, but my concern is sizing and it being white gold. I currently wear a 6.50. Also I've experienced a rash when I tried to wear white gold previously. I wonder if it would be extremely costly to do redo in rose gold.

Sizing is no problem, Lesley from BGD has told me that the ring can be sized up or down to a wide range of sizes *by them* for a cost of $75. To redo the ring you would need to buy a new mount, reusing the diamonds only. You would need to contact BGD for a quote to do that, but I do not think it is cost effective.

ETA: It was likely the alloy in the white gold that gave you an allergic reaction, usually nickel I think. I don't know what alloy BGD use, you could ask them.

From what I gathered, BGD uses Nickel white gold. I can't wear gold anyway, but I inquired for a friend's soon to be fiance who was considering an ering from them that they don't use Pd Whitegold, which when he was researching he thought might work. It sounds like he'll be getting Plat.

good to know.

Very very nice band. Keeping my eye on this candy.
Does it matter, if male or female wears this?

it only matters to the person wearing it!

I love this!!!! Seriously :) swoon!

It is a lovely band! I am really not wearing it these days at all since I wear my Aurora on my left ring finger every day! I hope it finds a good home 8)

Hi Dreamer - are you still looking to sell please? My heart skipped a little beat when I saw you were selling (ive been avoiding the lures of PS for a little while!) but I'll need to check with BGD around resizing as I have an enormous paw! I'll click on your link now which surely will give me the answer too.

Thanks

Sizing is not likely to be an issue, I have been told by BGD it can be sized up or down by a very large margin, a size 8 or 9 should not be a problem :)) If you message me I can confirm for you with BGD. Sizing and polish would cost the buyer about $75.

And yes, it is available still!

Hi Dreamer

Quick question - did you have any wear issues between this band and your ER? I have the Grace and it's such a low head I only wear it with a matching Grace wedder.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to see from BGD how this would sit with the Grace ER height wise.

Thanks
Loveloveloveit

Any shared prong band will scratch and damage a ring adjascent eventually, it is the nature of the beast. How much damage and whether you can see it or care depends on the way the two rings come together, what points meet. I cannot tell you how it matches with the grace, since I did not own that mount 8)

If you have calipers and can measure the height/thickness of your grace I can tell you if they will match up. The Dream band is 2.1mm high/thick where the diamonds are. I suspect that is about 0.1 or 0.2mm thicker than the grace.

Hi again Dreamer, I've looked into dimensions of the Dream versus my Grace and unfortunately they don't seem compatible in height which is very disappointing as I cant risk wearing away the setting. Sorry.

**SALE**

I will be in the US at the end of the month making shipping simpler for me. Between now and when I leave on January 24th I am willing to sell my dream band for $1050 and can ship it direct to you if the sizing is correct, saving you another $50 in shipping.

Has this band been sold? Am interested...Please let me know....I can of course be reached by email or on here publicly. I may have missed it since I've skimmed the sale...but how low do you think this can be sized down to?

Thanks..
J
