Dress Advice! Found another possibility...

I think it is amazing, but can I say I am not loving platforms with it? I can see a lot with it, but as much as I love platforms I just see something else! But that dress is a WOW...

Uh oh. I was banking on no one being able to see the shoes under the dress. The bottom part moves with me and is floor length. Do you think this is a bad assumption?

If people COULD see the shoes, I think tall strappy sandals would be the way to go. Problem is, I can''t walk in heels that are too high, and I really need at least 3 inches to make this dress work. So I was hoping for 1.5 of platform, and then some heel.

The part that kills me is the white patent ones were on sale for $200 at Neiman. ARGH! Why didn''t I just GET THEM!!

Ouch. Okay, that''s too much even for a designer shoe whore like myself. Really, that shoe in white probably wouldn''t be right for your dress anyway! See, there''s a good reason to not worry about it anymore! (I know, that probably didn''t work, but I thought I''d throw out a reason for you to not want them anymore! That''s what I try to do with myself if I skip buying something and later regret it!)

That dress is perfect for you! Way to go IndyGirl!

Although I have to agree on the platforms not really fitting the dress. It does sort of want something more sleek and simple. You don''t want the shoes to distract from that amazing dress. OTOH, my sil wore sparkly (and clunky) flip-flops with her moire silk dress and no one really noticed.
I suggest trolling Zappos for some platform heels at a more reasonable price to add your three inches!
