OMG, you are talking to the queen of shaky hands. I will try during my photoshoot next week with the spinel earrings but I don’t guarantee anything. If I discover I have ear hair, all bets are off.

You are welcome, bookworm. I only have the royal rhodolite drops right now, but I am constantly on the prowl for nice matching pears to make more drops. I don't have any jackets (yet.....). I prefer simple earrings for myself.

Fly Girl,
You have a very large and varied collection. Do you like studs a lot or it just happened that way?

Thank you IceKid and AmberGretchen.

Your collection is breathtaking.

Thanks, everyone.

Chrono - A couple of reasons for the studs. First, I love how studs look on me. Always have. As a teen I wore gold ball studs all the time. My aquas were my "dress up" earrings.

The other reason for studs is I can''t stand earrings that pull on my lobes. Heavier earrings or dangles have to come off after an hour or so. They drive me nuts. They are so beautiful, but apparently are not for me.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. More below:

Row 1: Turquoise, pink sapphire and onyx, Art Deco diamond, angel coral, onyx, moonstone
Row 2: Emerald, peridot, chocolate south sea pearl, sapphire, pink spinel
Row 3: Mint tourmaline, emerald, multi-color tourmaline, pink tourmaline

Thanks for the pictures.

Fly Girl: Thanks for your kind words. I love earrings and I wear them to accessorize my wardrobe. I usually buy clothes with my jewelry in mind. I just bought a jacket to go with my pink spinel earrings. That seems to be th ehot color for this season. Colors go in and out of fashion. When you find the right color, you have to buy it or it may not be available for years.

There must be more Pricescopers with earrings. Let''s see some more pics.

So true. I learned my lesson 20 years ago when my baby girl was born. I went out to buy her a pink baby dress, only to find that there were none available. Zip. Nada. Black and white was in that season, even for baby girls. I''m sure pink baby dresses have been available before 1989, and probably ever since, but I only had one baby girl in my life. Still POed about that.

On a more positive note, I just sprung for a new sofa for the family room because the rather odd color combo that we chose in 1992 is finally back in the stores! Yea!!!

Good for you picking clothes to go with your jewelry. Definitely the way to shop, IMHO.

Yes, let''s see more earrings, folks!

AN - I gasped out loud when I saw your collection!! Where have you been posting that I haven''t seen your gems???? I am really drawn to An and art deco. I love the pink and diamond set in your second posting. Did you say you buy at estate sales?

This thread is bringing me a lot of joy!! I am going to post my itsy-bitsy collection tonight!!
