Hi this will be my first post. I just want to post some input on some threads I have read. I purchased an EGL .74, F, triple X, SI1 from a mall store. It was awful so, I had a 30 day return and had them order GIA's in. For the same price I got a beautiful .70, I, VG, VG, VG, SI2, HCA 1.7. I read on here someone else bought a bad stone at a mall store and I didn't know if they knew you can indeed have mall store order GIA 's. They normally use m geller. Now if I had to do it over I would have ordered diamond on line. I color Stone is in white 18k, I love it. So, the EGL was off by at least 2 color and clarity grades. This SI2 is eye clean and EGL had huge feather to naked eye. So, I'm stuck w chain store but I can trade up again for GIA and because of all the awesome info on this site I can get what I want and save $. Thx to everybody on here.
