Thanks Lori.

I also keep going back to look at that one.
It's my favorite Octavia pic.

I may do a watercolor painting of it.
I haven't painted in years and my SO suggested it would make a great subject for watercolor.

I'm getting my Octavia Asscher tomorrow! I finally went for the 1.53ct J VS1 and decided on a platinum Vatché cross prong setting with double prongs. I am so excited!! I will post pictures as soon as...

I got the ring this morning - it's absolutely amazing - have had a fun day in the office showing it to everyone. It's so different from everyone else's (usually brilliant cuts in Tiffany settings).

Chasiu - I saw your wishlist last night and thought "ooh, that's exactly what I went for - what good taste"!

But it's so hard to take a decent photo! I've tried a couple. Have asked GOG if they've got some better ones. None of them do it justice - can't see the sparkle at all. Just took the fiancée out for dinner to say thank you and the place was candle-lit and boy, it was incredible!
