Emerald Cuts & Asschers - A Collection

My platinum Emerald Cut with side baguettes and tapered baguettes. It is a vintage ring. I have had a heck of a time finding a wedding band that I like with it. I think I have settled on this band with a row of bright clear single cuts but the jury is still out. I think the single cuts complement the simplicity of the step cut stones nicely....sparkle but understated sparkle.

Side baguettes are .40 ct each

My dear little sister Brooke just got engaged recently, she and I live in different country so I asked her to send me pics of her ring. Being a practical and low-key person that she is, only snapped ONE photo for me!!!
Anyway, she just texted: D proposed and here it is! errr...
I had to dig a little more and she finally said it is a 3 carats asscher.
She did ask for my suggestion for a wedding band, her fiancée is a dentist and doesn't care for any jewelry so she doesn't have to get matching bands. I have an asscher cut diamond band that I would gladly give her if she wants
I'm sooooo happy for her and can't wait to see her AND the ring soon~~ hehe

It’s overcast and dreary so it is showing more color than in well lit conditions. Heck, my F and G color CBIs are looking a bit yellow today
