Emerald Cuts & Asschers - A Collection

What a fabulous bracelet. Very pretty, MrsKBP.

Taking it home for approval. We will see! I already got earrings for my anniversary so not sure Mr. KBP will go for it. If not, it will go in the wish list Right now I’m not so sure. It wears like a bangle because of its inflexibility so I’m not 100% yet.

Thought this would be worthy to add! Hunting for a new tennis bracelet and let our jeweler know I’d love to see a step cut tennis bracelet and of course he had just one that was set east/west and of course I love it.09913102-D33C-4DBD-BFC5-1D5A9097DDAD.jpeg
@MrsKBP, may I just say that I admire your good taste? All of your recent purchases are TDF!!! :)

image1.jpeg My dear little sister Brooke just got engaged recently, she and I live in different country so I asked her to send me pics of her ring. Being a practical and low-key person that she is, only snapped ONE photo for me!!!
Anyway, she just texted: D proposed and here it is! errr...
I had to dig a little more and she finally said it is a 3 carats asscher.
She did ask for my suggestion for a wedding band, her fiancée is a dentist and doesn't care for any jewelry so she doesn't have to get matching bands. I have an asscher cut diamond band that I would gladly give her if she wants :))
I'm sooooo happy for her and can't wait to see her AND the ring soon~~ hehe

Absolutely beautiful! Your avatar is, also, by the way! Can you share a little about it with us? :)

My travel emerald I bought because it was a great price:

1.2 M faint brown, faint Fluor vvs1

It’s overcast and dreary so it is showing more color than in well lit conditions. Heck, my F and G color CBIs are looking a bit yellow today o_O

It’s cockeyed because I still have the tag on it lol.
This is a very lovely stone, whitewave! I hope you enjoy wearing it! What are you considering for your next setting?
Just wanted to mention that on dreary days, my "d" color pear also looks less bright and sparkly, so I think that because diamonds respond to sunshine and every other lighting condition, it really comes down to cut and the rough itself! :)

Well darn it wears like a bangle. I love those but they drive me crazy. Good luck. Christmas is coming soon.

Thank you very much:))
I was planning to share this EC diamond after I decide what my forever setting would be.
I bought the stone from BlueNile few years ago, put it in a simple Stuller setting, and it's now sitting in my safety box.
It's 3.01ct, F/IF, 8.99x6.97mm, 1.29 L/W ratio.

WAIT! Hold on!! It's sitting in a safety deposit box?? Not seeing the light of day?!? Why, that's just cruel and unusual punishment for such a dramatic and beautiful stone!!! Please tell me you take it out once in a while and give it a spin!!
Seriously, though, it is one gorgeous EC! It looks stunning as a solitaire and I'm sure once you set it in whatever setting your heart desires, it will look all the more gorgeous!!!
I love it!!! :)

Not sure I ever shared my Brian Gavin Black center 7 stone engagement ring (G VS1 0.94 ct center) on this thread. I love it so much. Have had it a year and still can’t stop staring at it all the time.
