Enhanced pics?

Does anyone know if vendors sometimes doctor pics to make them look better to the customer? Does this pic look enhanced?

It does look very bright & shiny, but it could the lighting and the surrounding colors.
Here are photos I took that are unretouched. I imagine I could get mine to look that that given my light box and the right lighting.

[And Kenny has some Octavia photos that are radically beautiful, if you look them up].
So I think it's hard to say what the story is on the photo you posted. They may have tweaked the contrast.
I'll be interested to hear what other have to say.

Oh wow beautiful!!!! The pic on the top right is amazing!!!

I'm kind of curious generally if this is something vendors do but looking at your pic makes me think that the pic I posted is actually what the stone looks like... hmmm

I've always loved the emerald but I can't deny the beauty of the asscher and this pic makes me drool... I'm just trying to figure out if it is somehow tweaked to make it look extra good...
