eternity band to go with 2.9-carat solitaire round diamond.

Hello, and thank you for reading my question. I am very likely about to purchase a 2.9 carat round solitaire diamond that will be mounted in a plain cathedral setting. I want two eternity bands (I like the look of two bands topped by the solitaire) and was wondering if anyone could tell me approximately how many 0.09-carat diamonds would be in a size 6.5 eternity band. Thank you!

I’m thinking it would be about 21 or so for a total of 2 carats. If you go to James Allen or Blue Nile, you can look at the various total carat weights on eternity bands and count the number of diamonds in each band to get an idea.

That's exactly what I was hoping to hear! I wanted approx. 2 carats and, because 9 is my favorite numeral, I was considering going with 0.09-carats stones. Thank you!
