Please help me choose the best one among these two
.91 carat, 71.3 depth%, 66 table%, Excellent Cut, Very Good Polish, Very Good Symmetry, Florescence: Faint, $2,812
.90 carat, 74 Depth %, 67 Table %, Very Good Cut, Very Good Polish, Very Good Symmetry, Florescence: None $2,950
What I'm concerning is should I choose the .91 carat with Excellent cut, but just Very Good Polish and with Faint Florescence? Or, should I choose the .90 carat with just Very Good cut, but Excellent Polish and None Florescence?
Thanks in advance for any help.

what shape? Does not sound like rounds so who is assigning these grades? In general you need superhuman vision to see a diff btwn vg and ex pol - and it will not affect light return. Excellent optical symmetry and excellent physical (facet meet) symmetry as graded by the labs do not necessarily correlate.

They are both Radiant Cut. GIA Report.

Re: Excellent Cut vs Excellent Polish? What about Florescenc

GIA does not grade cut for fancy shapes (anything other than rounds), so some other party assigned these cut grades.

Fancies are best evaluated in-person, or by a trusted rep and pictures/video/ASET/etc.

As I said earlier ex/vg pol/sym - or even good, given that we are discussing fancies - is not something to worry over.

Thank you for the answer. Though, I read the GIA reports for both diamonds on the website. Do you think they are not real reports?

Re: Excellent Cut vs Excellent Polish? What about Florescenc

What you might be seeing is sites that post "cut grades" on fancy shapes - this is very misleading, IMO- as it makes it sound as though GIA has issued a cut grade, when in fact it's totally arbitrary.

Re: Excellent Cut vs Excellent Polish? What about Florescenc

Florescence has the effect of perceptually whitening stones that are actually more yellow in color. Colorless stones are perceived to be negatively impacted by florescence (blue cast). So as you go up in color, come down in florescence.

Re: Excellent Cut vs Excellent Polish? What about Florescenc

Re: The stones in the original post - with GIA fluorescence descriptions of faint and none there will be no overall effect on color appearance.
