Fancy Colored Diamond Collection

I know nothing of diamonds, but the crap they sell that they call rubies is just mind boggling to me. And those prices are absurd

Seems to be a trend that good colored diamond dealers have poor colored gemstones. Most of bluenile's rubies look opaque.

Wow, first time seeing this, what a stunning collection. Thanks for bumping @hiratop
If I could spend your money @kenny I'd add this :lol-2:
Thanks.
Your $50,000 check is in the mail. :P2

FCDs with the best color are $$$$$$$$.
That's why I have only very small ones.
Most people prioritize size over color.

I want to believe that if this thing is worth $115k, my 3.11ct. is worth twice that.

I feel like they really are two completely different skill sets!

Wait a minute... I somehow found a worse one for even more money.

Who buys stuff like that…come on, 165k for a poor quality garnet-like stone? No offense to the garnet :D

I'm mostly in the same boat. Colour with sufficient clarity and very good make are king.
