My avatar is a rare natural fancy intense pure green. The nearest GIA to you is in New York
City located at 580 Fifth Ave.
Here is another rare fancy intense blue.
WOWZA!! Nice deep blue!

Your collection is magnificent. What are the stone weights?

Are greyish greens more affordable than other fancy colors? Just curious because I want a green diamond to add to my collection, but I can''t afford a fancy intense kryptonite green.

OMG, these stones are making me drool. All of you are so lucky, to own these beautiful colored diamonds.

I am speechless, all of those stones are so beautiful!

I also like colored stones. The closest I''ve come is getting (I don''t know 10 years ago?) 1 carat champage diamond tennis bracelet off a shopping channel.
I always intended to get some larger and nicer champagne diamond(s) (I love the champagnes and browns especially with some pink in them) but their increase in prices have exceeded my saving of money

Omg! *drool, envy*

Oh the blue, the blue! And pinks abound!

I think this thread might be heaven.

Hello friends!

I''ve been researching fancy yellow diamonds for the past 2 or 3 months -- getting ready to make my first fancy colored diamond purchase. I would love it if you would share some of your wisdom with me!

Thank you so much :)

Don''t ask me! However, if you do a search on "fancy yellow diamonds" in the search part of the forum, I''m sure a lot of information will come up.

My 0.50 ct SI2 natural fancy intense greenish yellow "chameleon" diamond. Modified pear shape with IGI certificate purchased from fancydiamonds.net. Here is Little Green looking very green.

Little Green looks rather yellow when he has been kept in the dark for a couple of days. This is the best yellow picture I have.

And Little Green looks rather brown under incandescent lights. I consider him my color change diamond, and I love color change stones.

I put other pictures in this thread. Link

it really depends on the color of the stone and the of course the GIA report that comes with it. grayish greens are sometimes chameleons. the price varies depending on the saturation and hue.

Hello Fly girl, the value of your greenish yellow if you can have GIA certify it with a full grading report.

what i mean is that the GIA will increase its value tremendously.

Here is another pure green

More gorgeous diamonds from Diamond_MD and Asscherhalo_lover.

What are you going to do with the pinks and green. Are you going to set them all in one setting?

Diamond_MD,
I love green diamonds. The Dresden diamond is my favorite. I like them much better than fancy blues. If I had to take my pick between the Hope and Dresden, it would be the Dresden hands down! I should be so lucky to even get to choose!!

Thanks, diamond, md! I am so pleased with the green color, which has less grey than many I''ve seen. I''m also pleased they called it a greenish yellow. I suspect if it had been called a yellowish green, it would have cost me a lot more $$$.

For now, I''m just keeping it and enjoying it.

Here is another pure green
I think that is the color green that is colored by the earth''s natural radioactivity, like the Dresden green. Very very rare!!

Wow, I don''t know how I missed that in the thread. Gorgeous stone. Very unique color, and I looked a the other links you provided. It''s a cool phenomena stone as well. I like your name for the stone - "Little Green."

Those pinks kind of overwhelm the blue (too much gray and the photo is too dark). I would love to see it in brighter light. However, it still is gorgeous.

asscherhalo-lover---I've been staring at that set for sometime, I'm so glad you bought them and put me out of my misery

They look nice in that layout!!!

Love those to Leon rings!

Love everyones colored diamonds :)

I too am a colored diamond nut, so seeing everyone else's collection is fantastic!!!

Here's one of mine-This is my sunburst pin, dated around 1880, with a fancy greenish blue OMC in the center---think aquamarine color-not as dark as the photos(only with intense light).
