Thanks! Our wedding bands are from Union Diamonds. They finished his with a Matte finish because he isn''t into shiney things. And mine was custom made to match the E-ring. I am VERY pleased with them.

Here are just a few more things:

Our rehersal venue! I would have had the reception here if I could have fit in enough people. It is an Italian place that is open to the publi like twice a week. The rest of the time, it holds private parties. I've LOVED every event I've been to there.

We're serving a buffet of lasagna or itallian chicken and sides like salad, green beans, etc. I dunno what sort of dessert yet.

Speaking of menus, here''s the reception menu (My favorite part!)

Hors d''œuvres for the "cocktail hour" (aka distractions while we do pics)
-Chicken salad served in a little pastry basket and topped with pecans (I can''t remember the fancy name, but they are tastey and pretty)
-Salmon on some sort of bread
-Bacon and Brie wontons

Salad
-Mixed greens, mozerella, cranberries, and pecans tossed in a balsamic vingerette.

Entre Choices:
-Pecan Encrusted Chicken in a Burbon Glaze served with twice baked mashed potatoes and asparagus
-Salmon pan seared in a white wine sauce served over sweet potatoe and asparagus and toped with shitake mushrooms
-Filet of Beef in a red wine reduction served with twice baked mashed potatoes and asparagus

Dessert-
Chocolate covered strawberries (White, Dark, Milk, or a mixture)
and Wedding Cake (which is either pastrey cream or strawberry cream depending on which layer)
and Grooms cake (which is some ridiculous chocolate concotion that my FI and the Baker came up with)

We''ll also have sweet tea, water, beer, and wine for everyone

I am NOT going to be one of those girls who doesn''t eat at her wedding b/c I am obsessed with our wedding food.

Our DJ:

Hehe. We''re DIYing the play list. FI has a friend who does sound for events, and he is lending us a sound system (an excellent one at that) and a microphone, etc. We''re setting up several play lists for various parts of the reception. His friend is going to announe us, and make sure everything goes smoothly. This was SUCH an amazing contribution because it allowed us to use the music $ on other places (like photography and decorations.)
