FF and updates on the Stock Market

He is too cute. I just wanted to share because he is cracking me up over this. S is keeping me up to date on Tiffany's stock almost daily. Last week he showed me how to check on it everyday online (and look at previous years) and apparently he is checking himself. He just emailed me again about it...

Does he happen to have SOMETHING on his mind??

It's down today.

My response to his email....."Well then, you better start saving your money for a future purchase!"

Something I say a lot to him these days.

My BF actually mentioned it the other day too. (He''s really into trading and it somehow was brought up in passing) But, if the stock is down doesn''t that mean that is bad for Tiffany which means its good for consumers? (ie reduced prices?) Idk. I dont remember our conversation exactly but I *think* that was along the lines of what he said about if it continues to go down. Anyways, if I am right (and Tiffany does cut prices... doubt it, but it could happen) then you could get your dream ring sooner?

If TIffanys stock continues to go down it will ONLY be good for consumers because they will end up having to liquidate assets in a BANKRUPTCY! Luxury goods are really being hit hard in this economy and I only pray that TIffanys survives!

Yep, now I remember that that was where the conversation was going... oops sorry Dreamgirl for the wrong information... Maybe I should start listening to BF a little more. I hope they survive it too. :/ It''s pretty scary seeing the economy like this and seeing what its doing to so many companys. Thanks Sizzle for correcting me

Yeah, I know it''s *crazy* and almost sounds bratty (and I''m totally not bratty at all!!!) to be concerned with a jewelry store...but it''s my FAVORITE store. Plus, it became my favorite store based on the engagement rings. So, I''m concerned about them.

Prices have gone down a bit on their engagement rings (Good for us) and I''m keeping an eye on them to see if they go down more because this would mean an even bigger YAY FOR ME!!!! But I don''t want them going under either. I honestly don''t see it happening though. I mean, the''ve been around since 1837 and survived the great depression. Needless to say, I see them possibly closing some store locations in the future if things don''t start looking up soon. I just pray to God that they don''t close the one by my house. Otherwise the closest ones are Vegas, Arizona, or Missouri...

I told S that if they close our store, he will just have to take a trip somewhere to get me my ring when ready

. On a good note, there is a store in Minnesota....(S is from Minnesota and goes to visit family from time to time. Complete opposite side of the state but it''s not far from the airport he would have to fly into) So hopefully they keep that one open too (for my sake!) KNOCK ON WOOD.......

I sure hope it doesn''t go under. I have always wanted to get BF something from the "Return to Tiffany" collection, because it''s my name and I think it would be a cute/funny reminder... maybe cuff links or something... However, I don''t think bf would like anything that I get because it is *cute.* haha
