FI upgraded my e-ring!!!!!

Neatfreak~ Well, keep in mind Kay''s SO did not create in any way this ring. They allowed the vendors to do business in thier store front and I''m sure they got a cut of the action but it IS very cool that they offer this "program" of sorts. It gives a little life to what you see at every chain store and all the while I can still go into one of thier 3,000 stores to get things tweaked, fixed, resized every month if I want to etc. It''s a comfort. I did wonder for a brief second why FI didn''t just go to a more unique jeweler to begin with but then I realized that someone definitely blessed this broken road that led me to that day

Ahhhh that makes SO much more sense lol. No offense to anyone who likes Kay''s, but I just wince when I walk in there. REGARDLESS you are one lucky girl because that is a beautiful ring!

Thank you all very much for your kind words The past couple days have really been wonderful with our new ring. There is something to be said for someone picking out an ering w/o the other person there as it is truly a surprise and very much reflects what the giver wants the other to have. On the other hand, now that I have had the fortunate opportunity to be on the other side as well, and have been able to help pick the setting and the diamond and all of that..........I must say that for us, the latter felt very special indeed. Perhaps more so as I was able to get something that truly stood out to me as "the one". (I am just so happy that he also felt the same way about it!).

FI was at work all night yesterday so I wore the wband for a couple hours around the house (hee hee). FI will never know.............

It just seemed so lonely in that box

I totally never remembered feeling unhappy about my previous ring but w this one, I feel like I''m queen elizabeth and ready at any moment to offer my hand to admirers

It''s a total difference. I guess when we find "the one".........no matter if that''s your gown, your veil (yes, that''s a plug for my most recent "worry"), your shoes, or your FIANCE we KNOW IT!!!!

Interesting how we find the perfect person, become engaged, and then the wedding planning itself is sort of a hundred different projections of that perfectness and manifests in every decision that we care remotely about.
