ETA: This song makes me wanna dance! :)

Woot! I am elated that so many of these songs are already on my list! YAY!

And, you will all be happy to know that Poison was one of the ones that was on there before this thread

I was able to round my songlist out through this thread and I couldn''t be happier.

Oh, and we are having 4 hours of dancing (8:30p to 12:30a) and about 20% of the list are slow songs. Does this sound about right? Figured I would ask here versus starting a new thread.

Now I am off to make a great workout play mix from these songs. . .

HA! When I was in jr. high, all my girlfriends and I had a dance to "Girls" except we changed the lyrics for it to be about boys. Now I wish I had invited more of them to recreate it.

oh and a really sexy song is ''Black Snake Moan'' by Blind Lemon Jefferson. awesome to dance to.

So people really dance to "Sweet Home Alabama"? Not just sit around and drink beers to it? I have to see this.

My mom sent me an email saying that I HAD to play this one song she had heard because she loved it so much.

The song? Fire Burning by Sean Kingston. I love my mom.

That *is* hilarious. My mom is far more lame than that.

I know, it sounds so funny, but its basically the country equivilent of "Hot in Herr" or something like that. It really gets people on the dancefloor, believe it or not. :-)

Haha, oh yeah! Mostly just 2-step - this scene from the movie gives you a little bit of an idea. Haha it's certainly not dancing for most weddings, though.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpUPjsevjq0&feature=related About 2 minutes in is the dancing. There are some line dances out there for it, but not a specific one for that song that I know of - it's usually just whatever people choose to do with it. Some people also just get up and dance with it like normal dancing.

Haha how'd you like to dance like this at your wedding?

Or this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-z8S4-ZleU&feature=related
I'd post the Achey Breaky Heart dance, but I just won't subject you to that.

Or you can do what everybody else does to line dance songs and just do the electric slide to it, haha.

LOL, I''ve seen this way too much. Just like if you ever want a sing-a-long, just play, "Friends in Low Places." I''ve yet to meet somebody from NC/SC/TN/KY that didn''t know every word.
