Final Advice Before Purchase

Hi everybody,

After months of on-and-off searching, I'm finally ready to make my engagement ring purchase, but I'd just like to get your advice before I do so.

There are two diamonds I'm trying to decide between. I've already reserved one of them, but the other also looks beautiful and is quite a lot cheaper (which would allow me to spend more on the setting).

I think both are excellent choices. No idea why the F is cheaper. Maybe it's smaller and lower clarity and not ACA.

One thing you can do, if you haven't already, is call WF and talk about the 2 stones. When I was buying mine I had them look at 2 stones and ask how they compared visually and had them explain the other differences, such as what made the Expert Selection miss the ACA grade. They were very happy to help with the decision and will honestly answer your questions.

Thank you both for your thoughts. To be honest, I think I need to remember that in real life both of these would look very similar when next to each other.It's easy to be hypercritical when viewing the specs and enlarged images online

This is a pretty easy choice as far as I am concerned. The larger stone is also the ACA, so option 1 is the winner. The little extra size is important in this size stone. I also like the VS2 clarity.

Thanks diamondseeker2006! That's what I was thinking too, but I just wanted to make sure it really is worth the price difference.
