I can absolutely tell that the pic doesn''t do it justice in terms of the detailing, because I can see the little grey specs that are those sparkles in some places. I think your accessories really tie the look together well. The halter straps are great. Such an exciting step! Do you know what you are doing with your hair? I agree that it does seem a little severe at the moment. The baubley sparkle band is awesome.

Thank you for the comments mayachel. I'm pleased that people seem to agree that the accessories tie in nicely. I didn't want to overdo it. I usually wear chunky or bold jewellery. I usually have a black or dark coloured choker style necklace round my neck so even though I am wearing a halter neck and it doesn't need a necklace, I thought a thin silver chain with a pendant would make me feel better without taking focus away from the dress. I also usually wear a chunky watch and lots of bracelets so this is very toned down for me. The thin bracelet on my right wrist matched the necklace and earrings but the pearls on the left wrist don't. I would leave them off altogether but I have a chunky tan line on my wrist where my watch has been so it needs covering.

The alice band cost me £12 from Accessorize. Fairly cheap but looks great.

As for my hair, The front will probably be fairly close to what you see in the picture, but not severe. For the purpose of the fitting I threw it in a messy bun, put the headband on and left some wispy bits at the side. At my hair trial it was pinned up at te back, then I had a side fringe and some wispy bits. The top of the front was quite bouffant..a little too much for my taste so she will tone it down for me on the day. I did it like this for the fitting to see what it would look like without the side fringe as I have doubts about how it will hold up over the course of the day. If I get hot (which is inevitable) my hair will get damp and start to kink all over the place so the fringe may be a disaster waiting to happen. So I am not sure. The headband started to slip everytime I had my head forwards or down so that also may be a bad idea. Who knows?!
