I have to agree with many of you that while the ring is of excellent quality and the diamonds are superb, all I can see is that popping green stone when I look at the ring on my hand. I love green!
StonieGrl, the process with WF took exactly 2 months with lots of phone calls and emails. The CAD designer had two net meetings with me and he told me that I am on the ''easier'' side to work with.
(that is a rare praise for me, usually it is the opposite since I am a perfectionist) I was hoping to get a Leon look and honestly, it is not. However, it is a beautifully made ring and the craftsmanship is impeccable. The 4 claw prongs are perfect.
coatimundi, you have a new playmobil picture! What is he holding? Is it PS''ed?
Sitting in its cherry wood box. The tsav sits high, and I love how the green projects onto the bottom of the gallery where the white gold reflects the green back.
Really, really, really gorgeous. That color (especially as displayed by the setting) is amazing! It's a truly both a special and spectacular piece.
I agree with you that, though it has elements of leon (claw prongs, halo, pave, and other stylistic choices), it doesn't totally have a leon look. I think it has something to do with delicacy, particularly of the pave. HOWEVER, I think this has to do with the microscopic zoom of the photos. . I feel like we PSers get so used to looking at SUPER close up photographs that we forget that these rings are tiny, intricate things and look more like such IRL. Your photos look more delicate than WF's (though I appreciate it when a vendor goes for accuracy), and I think in person, it probably looks even better than in your photos. To be honest, if I saw you wearing it, say, in line ahead of me at the grocery store, I would definitely wonder if it was a leon. I'm always hoping to encounter amazing gems or craftsmanship IRL, but have yet see a leon in the wild! And either way, it is totally, totally amazing.
yingh, this stone is absolutely gorgeous. i'm currently in the process of designing an e-ring for my girlfriend and this looks pretty much dead on the stone I'm looking for. any chance you could give me some details on it?
