Last one...the light was bad...but my pear is throwing off such awesome fire, I had to include it...we couldn''t get the pear to sit in the ring right because of the wax prongs, so it''s in there crooked...but it looks cool.

The shanks of both rings (e-ring and w-band) will be filed down..the wax is definitely bigger than the finished ring will be. There will be 2 pointers in the shanks of the rings. Also, the basket is just solid now, but will have to be hand done afterwards, as per the pictures on the first page of the thread. I wanted to have diamonds on the side of the halo, but that's not going to happen because of the way I want the halo to look from the top. The melee in the halo will be 1 pointers.

Getting excited...but am so freaked out about how the final product will turn out!

Ohh that looks good. I am glad it''s finally working out. They need to do it right and right on time.

Yep, the set will sit flush. I should''ve taken some profile shots of the set. The basket is high enough that the bands will stack and the w-band will sit right up next to the e-ring at the fatter part of the pear.

The wax looks good -- I have often wondered why they use strange and mixed colors though. I KNOW you will be happy with a halo. It''s going to set off your beautiful pear so well.

Giving them until tax day is more than generous. I''ve got my fingers crossed for ya!

You've given them so many chances and have been more patient that I ever could be. I really admire you for that! The ring better be perfect... you deserve it after all this time and all that you've been through.

Makes me angry just thinking about it, and it didn't even happen to me! I can't wait to see your ring when it's all done. I know it'll be stunning with your beautiful pear!!!

FG, I love the design. I can''t wait to see how the sides on the underneath turn out. I too am in the process of designing a ring. Unfortunately the designer I like has given me very little input and keeps telling me to give him an exact design and he will make it. So here is my question...what did you mean that you couldn''t have the melee around the basket because of how you wanted the diamond to look from the top? I want these diamonds around the underneath of the basket, but I want my halo to enhance my 1ct rb, I want the overall circumference to be about 11mm, but I am concerned that the melee will be too large and take away from the center stone. How large is your center stone I see your melee is a 1 ptr. How wide will your band be, I see you are using 2pts, but what will the overall width be? Thanks for your help, I can''t wait to see the final photos.
