I too like how your hair looks down. (Maybe a side part with soft 40s style waves and a hair pin/brooch that pulls one side off your face?)

However, a low up-do would look fabulous as well. Perhaps something like this?

I like the idea of simple accessories. Your gown is definitely versatile enough to go with several, bold accessories, but I would want to keep it as your main statement and play down accessories. But, I also love most of the suggestions people made, too. I think you can do anything.

kittybean you look amazing! CDN, it''s funny because when I saw the first photo that kittybean posted I immediately thought of that bride from the stylesonb website. I think this is the same bride with her hair down. I would suggest either the low style posted by CDN or this wavy down style.

if you prefer to do a fancy necklace and non-chandelier earrings (simple studs or drop earrings?) then I''d go with the down style. if chandelier earrings and more understated necklace then the low style.

Wow--I didn't realize there were so many more comments on this thread! Thank you so much for your kind words, ladies. I have another fitting this Wednesday--I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it goes well and that my dress will fit properly!

CDN, thanks for posting those hairstyles. I really love the low updo you posted! It is gorgeous! I am also definitely into the Forties-style waves. I think I'm going to have my hairdresser try to do both at my trial.

katamari, thanks for your suggestions. I like the simple accessories idea as well. I think I'm going to go with this necklace because I'm totally in love with it, but I will probably keep the rest of the jewelry low-key.
