Hello all! This is my first post so I apologize in advance if I don’t make any sense.

I’m looking for suggestions on a necklace. I was given a string of “hand faceted” citrines, faceted in to beads, beautiful and sparkly; they are a light tangerine peachy color, on the pink side of honey. I love them all next to each other; they catch the light wonderfully, but my problem is this: I don’t have enough of them to make a necklace that is long enough. And since they were a gift, obviously, I’m in no position to obtain more that would match.

Any ideas on what I could match them with? I want something very simple and elegant. Help! Thanks in advance.

why not bezel them individually and then space them out on a chain:

-----------------( )----------( )-----------( )------------( )----------( )-----------( )------------( )----------( )-----------( )------------( )----------( )-----------( )------------( )----------( )-----------( )------------

or even

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------( )----------( )-----------( )------------( )----------( )-----------( )------------( )----------( )-----------( )--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the stones sound lovely.

ps apologies for my attempted artistic endeavors above!

I don''t know where you could get more of the same. But you know what might look pretty is if the briolettes were seperated a few inches by gold or sterling chain. Maybe they could even be clustered wit some quartz or other stone or gold or sterling metal beads. Just a thought.

Hi Cyren About how many beads short are you ? Could you get some more citrine beads either lighter or darker maybe a couple of differnt shades And alternate from light ,medium, mediumdark, dark. mediumdark, medium, light and so on . Or three of the same shade with a darker shade and then three more of the first shsde and so on. Any kind of repeating pattern would work. A lot of differnt colors would also work.

oh, you could do a citrine by the yard necklace a la tiffanys!

Hi, i think the alternating colors is a great idea! The beads are probably 5mm to 6mm diameter, and 2mm to 3mm deep. I''m probably three inches short, so a considerable amount. They do alternate slightly in color, although they are fairly well matched, if I could find some more in any similar color I think they would be great to mix and match, I hadn''t thought of that. Thanks for all the great ideas!

I haven''t seen the Tiffany''s citrine necklace.... pics?

Great advice!
