My official search has been underway for a little bit now and I wanted to get some opinions on two different diamonds I''m currently looking at! Both H&A rounds, one is 1.51, F, VS2, the other is 1.59, H, VS2.

Here they are:

While I''ve spent some time reading threads and researching on this forum this is my first post so I appreciate any and all feedback. Nerve-wracking, absolutely, but I''m extremely excited on this pursuit to find the "perfect" diamond and see the look in my girlfriend''s eyes when I get down on one knee!

Thank you in advance for your help!

Those are both beautiful. Asked GOG their opinion since they have the stones right there. They are very close in size, the main difference is the color, so it boils down to your preference.

Hi konatri,

Just to clarify ... the 1.51ct F VS2 isn''t what we would grade as a genuine Hearts and Arrows. There is an arrows formation and there is also Hearts but this earns a "Premium" Optical Symmetry grade in our system for the grading of this feature which is a scale that runs from "Superior", "Premium" and "Traditional". Having said that however this diamond does extremely well in our optical examinations, both analog and digital and a great value considering. There were also no surface breaking inclusions (open), graining issues, nothing that impacted the durability of the diamond, a good conservative color grade, etc. so we published this one. The H VS2 however passes all our exams and does have "Superior" Optical Symmetry and is a genuine Hearts and Arrows. Both are beauties though.
