Beautiful ring and love the setting! I saw it on IG! I'm always so thrilled when I find out a PSer has a stunning piece of jewelry and it shows up on IG.. Happy anniversary!

Gorgeous @Weecam :kiss2: Happy Anniversary!!!:appl:

This was a beautiful choice for the setting. It has a lovely clean and timeless, vintage vibe to it. Congratulations on your anniversary.

Wow gorgeous and what an incredible journey!!! Happy anniversary to you!!!

What did you do with the beautiful 1.6 ACA?

I really love that setting. It just is sleek. I normally don't care for traditional solitaire settings that much, but this one is really lovely.

And the diamond isn't bad either! :kiss2: lovely ring and happy anniversary!

Wow gorgeous and what an incredible journey!!! Happy anniversary to you!!!

What did you do with the beautiful 1.6 ACA?

It went to HPD for the trade/upgrade...
I explain it a little in post #14.

Thank you very much for your kind comments! @bunnycat,@HNGN, @marcy, @ac117 and @elizat. I do love the Sholdt setting! And diamond of course!!

Simple perfection @Weecam, happy anniversary!

Oooh that diamond and those proportions!!! :love: It looks awesome on you and I'm glad you've found the perfect setting!!!

I loved reading about your story and upgrade journey. Quite the journey. You must be delighted to be where you're at for your 23rd Anniversary! Congratulations!

Thank you very much @Austina and @Lykame!

I actually forgot to mention that after my first diamond eternity ring that I was married with I purchased a 1/4ct on eBay, hated it and returned it....
I later purchased a .50ct and wore that for a few months before I found the .88ct old European Cut diamond for our 10th anniversary! So lots of gradual upgrades over the course of 23 years!! :whistle:

Short version:
1ct eternity ring :love:
1/4ct solitaire :tongue:
1/2ct solitaire=)2
.88ct old European Cut solitaire with two small diamonds :love::love:
1.18ct Tiffany & Co. solitaire :(2
1.4ct Whiteflash solitaire :love::love:
1.6ct Whiteflash solitaire :love::love::love:
1.76ct CBI solitaire :kiss2::kiss2::love::love::love:

Not sure where my upgrade journey will take me in the future. I feel very lucky to have what I own now.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!!!! Yay! CBIs are to die for!!!

(Your 25th anniversary isn't too far away, perhaps another CBI to replace your pendant?)

That pendant looked amazing on you! I think I missed what happened to it.

Wow! Your ring is stunning. Congrats!!

Weecam - what a diamond! But....

It’s been quite a journey to get to a 1.76 CBI!

When my husband and I got married in 1996 I dreamed of a 1ct diamond solitaire. We settled on a 1ct eternity ring in 14k white gold with a 1.8mm 14k yellow gold band on either side. I wore these rings for 10 years!

For our 10th anniversary I purchased a preloved .88ct old European Cut diamond in an antique 14k white gold setting. I’ve posted pictures of it on PriceScope before but I’ll attach one here in case anyone’s interested. It’s the first picture. I wore this ring for another 10 years!

For our 20th anniversary, right before I found PriceScope, I purchased a pre-loved 1.14ct GVS1 genuine Tiffany solitaire ring At last, a solitaire!! I thought it would be perfect...but alas it wasn’t. It didn’t wow me. The setting was a bit uncomfortable and the diamond, meh. Second picture....

To be continued....

Do you have a pictures of the antique ring setting? I love it!

@Steeldiamond I just realized that you were referring to the .88ct old European cut diamond ring....I sold that some time ago.
This is the only other picture I have of it. It’s the top ring. Sorry about that.
