Is there any better deal to buying fragrances from Tom Ford than when Sephora does 20 off? It would be quite the wait but I don't mind at these prices.
Skiing in Tom Ford Black Orchid. Only dare this since it doesn't turn skanky on me and because we have a chalet to ourselves... wouldn't have been fair in a hotel
It ploughs through the layers of clothes without a problem and is very well behaved with mild sillage only, once it has arrived at the top layer..
I'm in hell today (working to meet a friday deadline) So I'm wearing Guerlain Angelique Noir. I need it. And my computer speakers aren't working (dammit!!)
Awww I’m sorry. Hope they’re working now or very soon and love Angelique Noir. Hope the day improves and at least you’re smelling so lovely.
I've tried a few and it was the same for me - not much..My dh is wearing one of my favorites on him today.
Diptyque L'Eau de Tarocco.
Has anyone here tried any of the Eccentric Molecules perfume line?

I tried a few samples of different ones in the series and I don't get much from it. Just curious if anyone has any experience with this line.

A friend used to use molecule 01 and she smelled nice. But I wear perfume as much for me as for others, so even if I smell nice to others while wearing this, I wouldn't consider buying if I can't smell anything myself...

@missy, you might like this one. Australian sandalwood has a very intersting smell, like eucalyptis in a way. I get some wiffs of this because well...australian santal!! Its woody but its notes can be...interesting. Its got a certain freshness that on me can scream dill pickle for about 30 minutes at the beginning. Now, that might be whatever they're using to create the leather accord (likely) but well...yeah.
Can be quite dry. Last time I tried it was in wintertime, but springtime I like it most. why is a mystery. I feel that the dry air does this scent no favors. It can be quite woody in winter. In spring its not as woody, more of the notes come through. Violet to me reads as a sort of powdered sweetness but not really "violet" per se. Iris could also be helping the powdery feel.
The oil is much longer lasting and sits closer to the skin.
With the oil, a few times I would use a little rose oil. just a smidge because rose oil can be really really out there. IMO it balances that wood with something else...lol
But I urge you to try both to see which one clicks with you.
Just working my way through samples. I'm still on perfume detention (self-imposed).
Doing another round of Malle Iris Poudre. Iris but not a monster. I'm not in the mood for monster anything today.
I had this once opon a time. Great fragrance. I always felt this was a light purple cloud. fluffy. Just made my day you know? (maybe I'm a bit of an iris freak?)
