Ditto to whatever kcoursolle said! I have a phobia of my diamonds getting knocked up, so 5 stone definitely gets my vote!! I also don''t love how an eternity band feels kinda scratchy and thick between the fingers...
And what would be so bad about a bunch of melee (baby diamonds)??!

LOL! Too funny!

Thanks everyone for your advice

I think that we have now decided to go for a 3/4 eternity

Ide dearly love a 5 stone and tried very very hard to pursuade my husband but he feels that it may take away from my engagement ring - its a three stone

Im talking to Whiteflash now about both a full and a 3/4 shared prong with a 3TCW

Wow, I agree with your husband, smart man! I think a 5-stone would take away from a 3-stone!!! I love the idea of a 3/4 eternity. PERFECT middle!

How about a seven stone if you think the five stone would take away from your three stone? Tiffany has a beautiful platinum seven stone shared prong setting - and you could have one made for a lot less.

I tried the Tiffany one on and liked how feminine it looked and fit the curve on my finger. Ultimately, I''ve decided to go with a five stone band so I can get bigger stones (40 pointers), since I''ll be wearing it as my engagement ring.

Good luck!
