German guy needs help - engagement ring

I‘m sorry to chime in late… IMO a D color VS2 would be a truly special engagement diamond. I currently own an E superideal and love the “extra whiteness”. However, the matching aspect with other jewelry, that others mention, might apply for people who wear more jewelry. I am color sensitive, but the performance of a superideal will be stunning no matter what color.

Hey guys,

so, I confirmed the order and sent the money - I will post a picture as soon as the ring is here in Germany, so I think in around 4-5 weeks.

I will post another picture in November because we will be in Australia for a few weeks travelling..so hopefully that will all work out in November haha.

@RunningwithScissors I never thought about needing to match the ring with other pieces. Fantastic advice on that front to stick with the G for that reason. I love learning these little things from other members "by accident"

I think you did a great job! WF is tops in quality and service, no compromises. She'll never find herself seated next to a better performing diamond. The yellow gold band will be lovely. And you can always change that later to update the ring.

Short version: everything went out really well - picked up the ring in Germany, brought it to Australia, asked her at Whitehaven Beach (Whitsundays) and she is very very happy and so am I - the proposal was actually in the water because she didn‘t want to come out due to the clear and nice water haha but it was really great she had no idea…
