Hello. Newly acquired old mine ring. In the UK dealers and jewellers don't really have GIAs as they are 'known'. That said we'd be interested in finding out how to get it certified. Especially issues around customs/taxes as I'm assuming it will need to go to USA? Has anyone done this?

When you posted the other thread no one knew you were in UK...great find.

This seller will know where to get it certed in UK. I know she had a huge 6c OEC that was certed
but can't recall the lab.

HRD is the respected lab in Europe. I wouldn't worry about getting a GIA report. Don't think they
have any labs over there but I might be wrong.

What are the stats on the stone? measurements?

Thank you. I'm delighted! I can't quite believe it's ours yet.

The centre stone is 2.4cts. 8mm round. 5.8mm depth - that's why we're thinking about a re-set to show off the size more and to let more light in as it's currently in a beautiful but very thick/heavy plat setting. The size baguettes are 0.15ct each.

I grade and VS1.
