I didn''t see a thread started for all those sparklie gifts PS''ers received for Christmas. I am posting a pic of my pretty hoops, and pave heart pendant/chain from my two beautiful boys! I''d love to see other ''gifts that sparkle'', so feel free to post your pics!!
Pretty, Buffy, tell us more about this ring! Does it have it''s own threat somewhere?Date: 12/28/2008 5:44:07 AM

Christmas Bling, got to love it. I am attaching a pic of my new ring that my wonderful hubby bought for me along side my solitaire. Diamonds are a girls best friend. Wishing all a Happy New Year. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is beautiful! That is my favorite setting for a diamond bracelet! So what is your favorite store on earth? Enquiring minds want to know!Date: 12/29/2008 11:08:50 AM

And I''ve wanted a classic four prong tennis bracelet for a very long time- my whole life really. I''m lucky to own other diamond bracelets, but they all have some type of design to them. I wanted a classic line bracelet. Although my heart was always set on five carats, this three carat baby was what fit into my budget comfortably. 3.01 ct. H/I, SI1/SI2 from my favorite store on planet earth.
My mom bought me earrings like that for christmas ad I love them but the freaking posts cut up my ears. I might have to take them to a jeweler to get them fixed.Date: 12/29/2008 11:50:54 AM

I rushed to try to get a shot of this lever back for you, so it may not be very clear. The lever back itself is square instead of more oval-ish and the back clips up onto the notch on the heavy cast ear bar. Once it''s closed, believe me, it''s closed. The first time I tried them on, I bloodied both my thumbs trying to get them off. I walked around the house with the right one in my ear for four hours. I thought I was going to have to have my husband cut it off with one of his tools. In any case, a friend who is a jewelry designer uses this same mechanism on her earrings that cost many thousands of dollars. They don''t come off unless you want them off.

Gemgirl, those are beautiful earrings. I love antiquey-looking jewelry. Do you happen to have a profile shot? I''d love to see the leverback mechanism you''re talking about.
