Came across this, and it seemed large enough for PS.

Description:

Unmounted Diamond, the old European-cut diamond measuring approx. 14.17 x 14.35 x 7.68 mm, and weighing 9.80 cts.
Estimate $80,000-120,000

Wondering why there's no GIA report . . . ?

I think 14 mm is plenty of finger coverage for most people. :sun:

I'm guessing it doesn't have any lab report because there's no mention of colour or clarity either.

I'm shocked that they don't have more photos of the stone. It does look like it at least has a significant dark eye visible inclusion on the table.

What a honker....

The big black booger is probably responsible for the low estimate for its size. Without a lab report, no reliable info on color either. Looking through the rest of the auction, most estimates seem surprisingly low for what the items are.

Yeah, Minous, JF, that is kind of a big inclusion. I just thought it was a reflection.

I better stick to colored stones.

It is huge, though.

Nice rough for a 6 ct super ideal.
